Multi-Layer Steel Gaskets
Multi-Layer Hot Gaskets, also known as MLS for short, consists of multiple layers of stainless steel substrate with full or half embossments that give the layers function. This product can include a stopper at the combustion seal to limit motion and provide multistage gas sealing. Primary elastomeric coatings provide microsealing for the head, block and gasket layers. Secondary coatings enhance cold-seal capability, reduce friction and prevent sticking.
