The new Goetze liquid elastomer molded (LEM) gasket technology has proven to be a highly successful sealing technology in a wide variety of engines and applications. LEM consists of an aluminum or steel core with a thin elastomeric coating into which three-dimensional sealing elements are formed.

The base elastomer coating provides a good overall microseal, and the silicone beads ensure optimum sealing in critical areas. The result is a gasket that is extremely tolerant to variations in surface finish, and offers functionality beyond traditional materials.
