 Performance valve cover gaskets made with Fel-CoPrene synthetic rubber typically have a longer life than gaskets made with cork rubber. However, they can be more difficult to install because of the flexibility of the material. We recommend using a quick-drying contact adhesive to bond the gasket to the valve cover before installation.
