After completing this workshop, students will be able to:

  • Utilize alignment equipment and understand the relationship between alignment geometry, suspension height and part integrity to diagnose vehicle chassis problems 
  • Identify the operating characteristics of the latest suspension, steering and driveline systems 
  • Perform accurate inspections on suspension, steering and driveline systems, and communicate the results effectively 
  • Perform reliable suspension, steering and driveline service more effectively using proven time-saving techniques, tools and problem-solving parts 
  • Diagnose and repair driveline problems, including those related to phasing, runout, balance and angle changes, using special tools and procedures
