COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA:
Federal-Mogul Corporation, 26555 Northwestern Highway, Southfield, Michigan 48033, USA including its worldwide affiliated entities (here and after referring to as Federal-Mogul) respects the privacy rights and interests of each individual. Federal-Mogul entities will observe the following principles when processing candidate data. Data will be processed fairly and lawfully and Federal-Mogul will comply with local laws. Data will be relevant for the purpose for which it is collected and used. Data will be processed in accordance with individual legal rights provided by law.
Federal-Mogul collects personal data when you register your CV/resume and want to apply online for Federal-Mogul positions. The collection of this data is essential to enable Federal-Mogul to provide you a comprehensive recruitment service and to administer your application for your selected job vacancies at Federal-Mogul globally.
The data collected is exclusively dedicated for the administration of your application and for Human Resource purposes.
Human Resource purposes include:
- Identifying and/or evaluating candidates for Federal-Mogul positions
- Making a decision about whether the individual should be hired
- Maintaining appropriate recordkeeping related to hiring practices, analyzing the hiring process and outcomes and conducting background investigations where permitted by law
Only HR Managers and authorized Federal-Mogul Managers subject to a personal entitlement process and confidentiality commitment and a third party (Kenexa) will have access to the data, subject to a written confidentiality agreement and subject to use of the data for Human Resource purposes as defined.
Data will be kept as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and processed. In all cases a maximum length of time will be four years. After that period, all the personal data will be automatically and definitively deleted.
RIGHT OF ACCESS/RECTIFICATION/CONTENT:
Data will be processed in accordance with your individual rights and according to local applicable laws.
You may at any time, review, correct and update your personal data. If you want to delete your personal information, please send an email to ats.delete.resume@federalmogul.com requesting your CV/resume be deleted.
We strongly suggest that the information you put on your CV/resume does not contain data relating to racial or ethnic origin, political beliefs, philosophical or religious beliefs, membership of a trade union or political party, physical or mental health, sexual life or the commission of criminal offenses or proceedings.
TRANSFERING DATA:
All authorized Federal-Mogul employees are bound by individual confidentiality commitments to each Federal-Mogul entity around the world. They will only have access to this personal data for Human Resource purposes.
Transfer to Other Federal-Mogul Entities:
Federal-Mogul strives to ensure a consistent and adequate level of protection for the candidate data that is processed and/or transferred between Federal-Mogul entities. A transfer to another Federal-Mogul entity is considered a transfer between two different entities, which means that even in such "intragroup" cases, a data transfer shall be carried out only if applicable legal requirements are met and if:
- The transfer is based on a clear Human Resource purpose as defined above
- The receiving entity provides appropriate security for the data
- The receiving entity ensures compliance with Federal-Mogul policy and local law
Transfer to Non-Federal-Mogul Entities:
Federal-Mogul may be required to transfer candidate data to an external third party (Kenexa) for technical/maintenance system purposes. Kenexa may, on exceptional basis and exclusively for technical reasons, have access to the candidate data. Federal-Mogul will require Kenexa to guarantee the same level of protection as Federal-Mogul. If a Federal-Mogul entity concludes that Kenexa is not complying with local law and these provisions, the appropriate action will be taken.
APPLICATION OF LOCAL LAWS:
The Federal-Mogul policy is designed to provide a uniform minimum compliant standard for every Federal-Mogul entity with respect to its protection of candidate data worldwide. Federal-Mogul recognizes that certain laws may require stricter standards than those described in the present policy. Federal-Mogul will handle candidate data in accordance with local law applicable at the place the candidate data is processed.
DISCLAIMER
I consent to Federal-Mogul collecting, using and disclosing my personal data for the sole Human Resource purposes as defined above. I consent to Kenexa (third party) having access to my personal data for technical and maintenance system purpose. My personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for this purpose and for a maximum of four years. I understand that I can request access to and/or rectification of my personal data by contacting the Head of Corporate Staffing Human Resources in writing at the address mentioned above. By accepting the present form, I consent that my personal data may, for the purpose of recruitment and selection, also be disclosed to and used by other entities of the Federal-Mogul companies, in accordance with the Federal-Mogul data policy above.
In applying through this present website, I agree with all of the provisions above.
Federal-Mogul should therefore consider that if I decide to apply into this system, and that if I decide to go to the next step, this will be construed as a formal agreement and consent with the provisions above.
