The global Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) group develops, and helps facilities to implement, company standards and best practices for worker safety and environmental protection.  Our worldwide manufacturing facilities are independently certified as meeting the voluntary ISO 14001 Standard for Environmental Management Systems, and we apply this same standard to health and safety, the management of which is integrated with environment.  An example of the Company's EHS leadership is its public commitment to engineer the lead out of all our bearings products by 2010, a commitment backed with substantial research and development expenditures.  Many of our bearings are already lead-free.
